Late February marked the fold for the Coventry Crusaders Basketball Team who played within the England Basketball League Division 1. The team had held strong within the league for 19 years. The team ran out of funds after the club was unable to attract a sponsor for the remainder of the 2010/2011 season.
The head Coach Rodger Payne said: “Unfortunately I have had to withdraw the team from the league. Even up to two hours ago I was trying my best to get sponsorship but was unsuccessful.” (25th February 2011)
